All Hands Reunion!
Come one, come all and bring a friend to the 3rd Gathering of former
Atlantic Coast Airlines and Independence Air employees.
Anybody former employee or friend of the company is welcome (regardless of dates of employment). Due to requests by several people at last year's reunion, this year's reunion is being held on THURSDAY, January 31st. This should help some of the folks that can't get weekends off. I know that some folks have "real jobs" that require work during the normal work week, but I'll be taking vacation on Friday, you should too! We'll look at moving things back to a weekend next time around. I also know that this reunion falls during/near the monthly bidding transition for those of you with "non-traditional jobs", hopefully it won't be too much of an issue, but I'll try to remember that next time around (This year's date was pretty firmed up before some of you voiced input on that concern). The venue for the evening is again Ned Devine's Irish Village off of Route 7/Leesburg Pike on the East side of Sterling. (Corner of RT. 7 and Dranesville Road). More detailed directions (and a map) can be found on the ridgelines.org website. I know a few of you have requested Clyde's in Ashburn as a venue, they don't have the capability to accommodate a large party without it being a catered event (IE we can't just gather there). Also, they can't really cater to a group our size (I'm expecting 250-350 people). There might be the possibility for an "informal" gathering over the weekend at Clydes though if somebody else wants to organize. I'd be happy to post the info on this invite if such an event comes together. Please help spread the word! This invite is open to everybody and only through word of mouth can we get good participation. (You can click on the "Invite More Guests" tab on the left hand side of the page).
